Safety & Community Rules
Soulmate is designed to support a safe, respectful and intentional communication environment for users of both the website and the app.
1. Core Principles
- treat other users with respect;
- communicate honestly and responsibly;
- respect personal boundaries and consent;
- use Report and Block when safety concerns arise.
2. Age Requirement
Soulmate is strictly for users aged 18+. Accounts of minors are removed.
3. Authenticity
- use real photos and truthful account data;
- fake profiles, celebrity photos, impersonation and misleading AI-generated identities are prohibited;
- multi-accounting and ban evasion are prohibited.
4. Respectful Communication
- threats, insults, bullying, harassment and humiliation are prohibited;
- coercion, emotional abuse and manipulation are not tolerated;
- discrimination of any kind is prohibited.
5. Prohibited Conduct and Content
- fraud, phishing, extortion, spam and scams;
- NSFW content, pornography, escorting and sexual solicitation;
- violence, hate speech, extremist content, drugs, weapons and illegal services;
- publishing another person’s private data without permission.
6. Offline Safety
Meet in public places, let trusted people know where you are going, and never send money or financial details to strangers. Soulmate does not control user behavior and cannot guarantee the safety of offline interactions.
7. Reporting and Moderation
Trust & Safety reviews reports using human moderation and risk signals. Possible actions include warning, feature restriction, temporary suspension or permanent ban.
